3D PRINTING
3D printing, also called additive manufacturing, is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model.
We have three FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printers at the Cedar Valley Makerspace that can be used when you become a subscription member at Cedar Valley Makers. We offer a free 3D printer orientation that can get you started fast, and provide access to our Octoprint network for remote printing.

For best results, use the slicing software listed for the printer you would like to use. Sliced Models will be saved to standard media cards, which can be used in both the Lutzbot and Prusa printers
-
3D Printed Hovercraft Video - We really like this video because it demonstrates the power of 3D printing for rapid prototyping parts in the design process and it is just a fun project
It is asked that you assist in the cost of filament. Otherwise, there is free access to the 3D printers when working on projects with school-age children.
