
WOODWORKING
The Cedar Valley Makerspace offers a fully functioning woodshop. Before using tools in this area, members must have read the user manuals and safety guides, as well as attended an orientation of the equipment. This is a Level 2 Area at the Makerspace.
Members can request an orientation to the equipment at any time, by messaging on the user Slack channel or by emailing info@cedarvalleyakers.org
Maker Skills:
There are a variety of maker skills utilized in woodworking, including, but not limited to: hand-eye coordination, strength, precision, design, technical, and problem-solving skills.
